MORS — Mine Operation Reporting System

An onsite mobile reporting system deployed at PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara mining operations. The application runs on Android devices and is used by field operators to submit hourly operational reports. Backend is powered by ASP.NET MVC with a REST-style API.

    • Developed backend API and business logic using ASP.NET MVC5 and C#.
    • Built the mobile UI using Apache Cordova and PhoneGap targeting Android devices.
    • Implemented Kendo UI components for data entry and reporting views.
    • Integrated backend API with mobile frontend for real-time data submission.
  • Architecture & Technical Decisions
    • Centralized authentication via Keycloak SSO to decouple authentication concerns from application logic
    • Implemented application-level RBAC to allow fine-grained access control across internal modules.
    • Chose Windows Task Scheduler for predictable and reliable execution in an on-premise enterprise environment.
    • Designed the system with modular boundaries to support future feature expansion and maintenance.
