Maven Dental — Patient Appointment Platform

A patient-facing dental service platform serving the Australian market. The system allows patients to search for dental clinics, book appointments, and access information about dental services. Built on Sitecore 8 CMS with ASP.NET MVC backend.

  • Key Contributions
    • Developed and maintained backend components using ASP.NET C# and Sitecore 8.
    • Implemented appointment booking features and service information pages.
    • Performed bug fixing, support, and maintenance under Scrum methodology.
    • Collaborated with Ogilvy Australia team on delivery and QA.
  • Architecture & Technical Decisions
    • Centralized authentication via Keycloak SSO to decouple authentication concerns from application logic
    • Implemented application-level RBAC to allow fine-grained access control across internal modules.
    • Chose Windows Task Scheduler for predictable and reliable execution in an on-premise enterprise environment.
    • Designed the system with modular boundaries to support future feature expansion and maintenance.
